Made this using Photoshop CS3. I used the path tools to create the shapes for different pieces of the car, then added various layer styles including emboss and inner-shadow. To make the highlights/reflections, I used the free-form select tool and applied a white fill with roughly 30% opacity.

This is my first vector-style drawing, which I made with the help of this tutorial: [link]

Then I used a few brushes to make up the background.

Try making a vector background to fit with the mini a bit more.

It's good work for your first. Looking forward to seeing more.

I see what you mean , come to think of it. I should have made the background lighter so that the car stood out a lot more. I'm working on a 350Z at them moment, so I'll take it into consideration.
